For a second year in a row, the University of Michigan Council for Disability Concerns’ Investing in Ability series of events will explore disability as a dimension of diversity.
The 2017 theme, “Diversity Includes Disability,” was retained by the committee to continue the conversation about the benefits of being responsive to those with disabilities.

“It’s truly remarkable how beneficial it can be for everyone when we take some time to evaluate the needs of those who have challenges,” says Anna Ercoli Schnitzer, Investing in Abilities committee chair. “For example, one of our presentations will speak to accessibility for students in the classroom. And the accommodations discussed can be of great value for all students as well.”
